My name is Larry R. Cockrell, Jr. of Kenosha, WI. I am a self-proclaimed game designer and card/board game enthusiast, though I wasn’t from the beginning. I fell in love with card and board games in 2001. Before that, I just didn’t get them; I guess I was closed-minded. Since then, I have developed a real passion for them which convinced me to even create a few.
I created this blog as an unbiased individual to review KICKSTARTER game projects, but not the games themselves. I wanted to review the first impression. This is the impression of the project and game based on the information provided to the backer on the project page. This first impression engages a backer to move on the project (research, reviews, etc.), or simply move on. I hope this blog offers some insight from the POV of a discerning backer.
